DualX boiler cleaner

View the thread, titled "DualX boiler cleaner" which is posted in Boiler Advice Forum on UK Plumbers Forums.

Hi fellas - just been out to an horrifically sooted boiler - completely choked including the secondary heat exchanger - can the DualX stuff be used on the stainless steel heat exchanger at top?

On slightly different note - another customer requested a power flush - I added the Fernox F3 several days ago but now the customer has asked for flush to be put back maybe indefinitely........is it ok to leave the F3 in there?

many thanks guys

dave

read the f3 instructions week at max fm memory or it eats the hex 🙂

beware the washing line if you use dual ex, instructions tell you limitations on use, havent read them for ages though. Home

just read them, 🙂 beware kiddies in prams near flues if using dualx 🙂🙂 great image in my head of a sooty kid, cant see issues with the 2ndry x if using dual x just flush on completion to be safe
