EA CODE On worcester cdi!

Did a cp12 on a worcester cdi now customer ringing once i left got an EA code tried reseting still coming up any ideas what this could be I've checked condense and its full and not blocked at all.

Yes gas is on pressure fine EA keeps reaccuring

condensate trap too full? or ionisation probe or wire knackered, fallen off

No flame detected so could be anything. Check gas ok. Rubber diaphragm/bearing plate is ok. gas valve test coils resistance. Heat ex clear. test co2 max and min. electrodes ok and ionisation probe. Had blocked flue intake with fine spider webs the other day!

The boiler was fine till I took the case off then the EA code starts flashing:cuss:

Condense trap might need cleaning, the funny shape trap gets loads of that grit type stuff trapped, the winow of the sump stays looking clean tho so don't be fooled.

Also iv had it all accumulate where it it joins the trap, you can stick your finger up there to check its clear... Maybe putting it into service mode & testing all the rads was enough for it to start producing a lot of condense...

Possibly needs a set of electrodes!? Easy change on the Cdi

Electrodes are common, the flame rectification probe burns away to all but nothing.
