pump pressure good - nice fine spray of oil out of nozzle/ electrodes sparking nicely yet she does not ignite - any ideas fellas? have changed control box/nozz/etc etc but just will not fire...

How have you proved atomization of oil at nozzle?
If you have neat fuel at nozzle at correct time have you checked to see if a weak spark? Have you checked air supply is good?

So you've had burner out and independently and safely checked both oil flow to nozzle and spark? If you have a weak ignition unit opening up the spark gap often shows this fault. Simon mentioned above position of electrodes, although a possibility if they haven't been touched then probably not the cause

That would do it. Don't worry, we have all made silly mistakes like that. Keep the spare parts as they may come in handy some day. Just to add if you had spark and oil then the box was never causing your issue. Anyway glad its sorted
