spent 6 hours today bleeding a radiator!! only to find out I hand piped it up to the bloody gas pipe!!! ...... silly me!!!! hahaha only joking on that one, did pipe a water pipe to a gas inlet on a water heater once tho, but I was only 16!! I was helping my dad (a non gsr farmer) , because I wanted to be a plumber he made me help him to change a morco water heater in a shed on the farm!! very dangerous looking back!! remember helping him to change a radiator in the conservatory as well , my job was to run and get pans from the kitchen and empty them fast!! my mums job was to drive down to the local village at around 9pm to the plumbers house to get him to come over as he would not answer his phone ,this was as our house was flooding ...... haha, fair play he did come straight away and took me on to do my apprenticeship, probably to save him from having to come over to finish jobs my dad had started, he was also forced to use bits my dad had in the shed to do these jobs to save him money on materials!! bits of old pipe, used fittings ect!!! needles to say I now do all the plumbing, and use materials from my van..... this saves him money on materials and labour!!
