Hi,
We live in a 3rd floor (top floor) city apartment and the en suite bathroom smells like sulfur/rotten eggs, but only at night. When getting ready for bed at about 11pm, within a few seconds of running the sink, the smell starts. It can be really pungent sometimes, but not others. We've had a filter/trap from behind the sink changed and the base of the toilet has been changed because sometimes the smell seems like its coming from the gap where the cistern meets the base. The plumber has also been in the loft space looking at the vents and says they're fine. Unfortunately as the smell only happens late at night, the plumber has never been able to smell it or try to work out where the smell comes from. It never smells during the day regardless of how much water I run, hot or cold. The apartment block is a new build and we've only been living in it for about 3months. The family bathroom and kitchen never smell. The plumber is stumped and so are we. Anyone got any ideas?!?!?!?!?
Thanks 🙂
