Thanks I may ring technical to confirm the preferd position of the pump. I did notice on there drawing the expansion vessel is positioned so it can be isolated from the boiler by the boiler isolation valves. Guess this is acceptable then?

Thanks as long as the prv can't be isolated from the boiler it won't be.I think it should always be possible to isolate the EV, as long as the PRV cannot be isolated then there is no safety issue, IMO.
What is the proposed pump make/model if available and how many zones?I did wonder if it makes a difference with the pump on the manufacturers diagram. Being a pump to take the water to the low loss header then taken of this with other pumps for each zone. This installation is just one pump for the system no low loss header.

The filter after the pump on the return do you mean?Just add your filter below the right hand isolating valve Matt. Cheers kop 👍
Lower down Matt before the pump 👍The filter after the pump on the return do you mean?

Yes mate that will work 👍 don't forget a auto bypass for the pump over run when your zone valve is closed . KopSorry do you mean kind of like that?
Here you go mate go with 50 litre vessel all the best . KopAt 34 rads I was thinking of a 35litre expansion vessel. Was thinking roughly 8 rads for a 8litre vessel on a combi. But due to the high kws of the boiler I take it a 50litre would be better?
