Thanks I may ring technical to confirm the preferd position of the pump. I did notice on there drawing the expansion vessel is positioned so it can be isolated from the boiler by the boiler isolation valves. Guess this is acceptable then?
 
I did wonder if it makes a difference with the pump on the manufacturers diagram. Being a pump to take the water to the low loss header then taken of this with other pumps for each zone. This installation is just one pump for the system no low loss header.
 
Looking at either of those type of set ups now.

What is the proposed pump make/model if available and how many zones?

At 34 rads I was thinking of a 35litre expansion vessel. Was thinking roughly 8 rads for a 8litre vessel on a combi. But due to the high kws of the boiler I take it a 50litre would be better?

Thanks for the help everyone! Noted the locksheild valve on the expansion for servicing as long as I make sure it can't be closed without tools.
