Explosive ignition problem

Sorry feller, I wasn't brave enough to have a go. Especially on a saturday night. The wife goes nuts when ever I start stripping things at the weekends. They usually end up going from bad to worse!

Including her or just inanimate objects?

So I tried it with the case off today. Still exploding! So phoned baxi, he got me to check gas valve. The 1st 2 pins on the left were 3.5k ohms when they should be 1.5. So he believes it is letting too much gas pass. Need a new valve apparently.

Jusy bought myself a gas valve and now I csnnot get to the nuts to take it out. It says in the book the valve comes with a service spanner but it don't. What do you guys use?

Grips or think ring spanner ?

I tried with grips and all kinds of spanners but no joy. I cannot believe in 2 weeks I have bought parts with the sockets that they're supposed to come with missing:-(

Mini socket set? Undo 4 stork and then the two under burner?

I tried my mini socket set but couldn't get it between casing above and nut. I can get the one at the front, but the 2 at the back are being troublesome

That's what I was thinking. But I need to get them online. I don't know any shops that sell them. But, why do they say it comes with a spanner when it doesn't! !

I have just spent £50 on a new socket set as another part I bought 2 weeks ago didn't come with said bit. I have got to hand it to you killy, you do know what nice tools are
