Hello all,

I got a bit of a pickle here, my boiler has decided to pack up and my plumber can’t attend until Friday now. Boiler turns on, then just clicks, fans and pump are working, but the boiler fails to light up. I can see the red and white component (marked as 230 0207) just sparks for some reason on PCB, as per video.
Is this a PCB replacement?

Best Regards,
Lumen

It's a device known as a 'spark gap'. Sparking is what it does. You need to find someone qualified, i.e. Gas Safe Registered, to fix your boiler. If your usual plumber is not available and you are in a hurry try someone else or the Ideal website:
