Hi All
I have bought the Bristan Easy fit Echo kitchen tap and thought I would try and fit it. Unfortuanately I do not have isolation valves on my hot and cold pipes and no main water tap to be able to turn off water inside the house . So I have turned off water outside and drained off the cold water but believe will have to drain down my megaflo tank of hot water in order to fit the tap.

I have one 15mm blanking nut which I thought I could put on hot water pipe if it drips when i disconnect the current flexible pipe

Please see the attached photos , - in the photo with the new flexible tails and isolation valves will it work if I remove the first steel nut from the pipe work and then screw the ends of the isolation valves to thsi part of the pipework

Thanks for any advice

good evening betty

No if it is an unvented turn mains off and let the hot water run and it will stop prob around 3-5 mins

There might be a smidge of water that comes out when you undo the flexis but a towel below and just quickly swap the flexi for the iso valve as will fit the existing nut and olive remember to shut the iso first
