good morning,

we're fitting a concealed shower valve into a stud wall. the instructions say there's depth adjustment of 15mm. how do we adjust the depth? the instructions and youtube videos aren't that great on the small details.

the face plate rests on the lock sleeves so i'm guessing we just partially unscrew the lock sleeves to give us extra depth? and how is it sealed? i can understand sealing the back of the face plate but water will get in behind the handles?

thank you if you can help

The adjustment simply refers to how much of the ‘lock sleeve’ is sticking out of the wall.
The face plate will have an oring for each handle aperture.

Can’t see it written in instructions other than the 75-90mm (15mm difference) depth below wall surface for cover plate to fit. So if you have a stud wall for it to sit behind, then the void needs a min of 75mm (if I’m understanding it correctly).

I’m not going to read the instructions, sorry!
Screw the black shrouds (lock valves) fully into place. The depth adjustment is accomplished by how far the cover plate slides onto these shrouds.
The cover plate may only be friction fit.
As long as you set the valve depth within the tolerances from the final finished wall surface, you’ll be fine.
