gas safe registration pending?

hi iv just registered and been told my application is now pending, iv paid fully and am just wondering how long this pending malark will take and can I now start working on gas?

Pending.....a day or 2.
Receive ya expensive bit of plastic within 14 days.
Once no longer pending your free to operate.
But keep a log of all jobs attended
