I remember when the word gay meant happy, and I feel uncomfortable with the hijacking of a perfectly innocent word turning it into a tawdry descriptive of an unnatural relationship and even a word that is often perceived as an insult.

Why get married?
Yes why? I didn't really want to ----with all the historical connotations of "ownership", monogomy, religion, duties etc....
But still there are tax advantages to being married - so it makes financial sense when you have a long term, main partner.
I think my husband would be happy with title of "long-term main partner" !!!

When I was a doorman, you could always gurantee a fight and tears (not happy tears either) at a wedding.......
Oh, and there were the shotgun weddings or forced marriages,

I don't do woods!
Standbys is a good idea though.
My standbys would be: The cast of "500", Rock and Vin (Fast & furious) and then in joint top would be Jason Statham and a model I see in the Worcester B mag!
Fortunetly for me Mr TP is just as SExy - he keeps his 6 pack warm and safe under a layer guiness.
And just at the moment he has more hair than most of those actors.

Some people share your view of homosexual behaviour as unnatural.
I do not.
Evidence - many many animal species engage in that activity.
Especially our closest relative - primates.
Chimps, for example, are almost human in DNA terms.
Thankfully most people do not think as you do and our society has come along way from when such views were dominant pre-1980s/1990s.
In practice "gay" people can be good work colleagues or good customers - from the point of view of plumbers online.
The world is a poorer place due to views like yours - which led to
early deaths of men like British war hero by Alan Turin - one of the greatest scientific/ maths brains of all time.

Well done Tara, you have taken a small snippet from a larger text and focused on it in order to make me look the bad person.
I do not agree with the persecution of people with different views or predilections but it seems to me that current trends favour the extraordinary above the ordinary.
My opinion is as valid as yours, and I don't care who pays my fees, they are all equal in my mind.
Since you have decided to attack me, can you please explain why such an innocent word as Gay has been hijacked and turned into a word that celebrates an alternative lifestyle.
Please remember that if it wasn't for heterosexuals doing what comes naturally, there wouldn't be any homosexuals.
