Glow worm Betacom 24C

Hi folks

Just thought I would post a thread regarding :-

Boiler Firing then shutting off after 5-10 secs, then refiring. Hot Water & Combined Modes
Initially thought temp sensor as first cheap option, spoke to gloworm who said main PCB, fitted and still happening, removed condense leads, still the same, glow worm now advised to buy display pcb, are they just making me look a tit or does anyone know of anything else?? HELP HELP HELP, the customer is now questioning my ability!!!

I know how you feel I just bought a pcb for £117 on advice of worcester , ended up walking away from job, I thought you taped up those condense leads from memory, Good luck

They advised my apprentice that the other day too

I was on the end of the phone too but it didn't feel right

Turned out to be a faulty dhw flow switch.

yes I have since replaced the flow turbine / switch and still have an intermittent issue which i have since been back to check all the connections and so far all is good fingers crossed LOL

Pump sticking slightly out of true regularity might argue. against though but where you are now worth a look right blocked plate heat heater or primary pipe work not enough to trip out on o/h stat but enough for boiler stat to handle, Kelvin, Kent
