I'm changing my van soon, I don't want a Transit/Transporter/Vivaro size and have been looking at a VW caddy Maxi, but they're pricey. I looked at a couple of these today.

Citroen Dispatch, the SWB,has anyone got one? What do you think of it?

have not got one but they look good, going with a basic landrover defender next had it with all this electrical modern crap,my astra wont talk to the computer again

Had one at a firm I used to work for as a courtesy van, It was a lovely drive and had lots of space in the back despite not being the biggest van going. Was comfy too 🙂

I recently bought a new berlingo , long story short had it 4 -5 months its gone, made to a price and it reflects in the quality or lack of it. New caddy is being delivered this week
You cannot beat VW

Looking at my next van to be a VW been looking at the caddy as I dont really need a big van. So you'e recommend them then?

I've got the long wheelbase version of the dispatch. Very comfy, loads of space and very reliable. The enterprise spec version gives you a load of extras. Best van i've had so far.

I had a transporter previously and have never had any grief so the caddy has to be. It may be a tad more money but worth it when ya need that reliability

I'm not looking for a van and not much experience of them so only suggesting ... are Mercedes any good, as there are quite a few around my parts. Also one or two have a Toyota (presumably for the reliability factor?)

My friend has a Mercedes Vito,5 years old and it's riddled with rust, apparently it's a fairly common problem. I've had a VW caddy before and I really liked it,but like I said before, pricey.

I've had a Berlingo(03)for 18 months now and it's done really well, good drive and reliable,I need something bigger now though.

Ive had my Trafic for 4 years and done 80K from new, been back to Renaults too many times for faults, but my dad has had two Toyota Hiaces now, very reliable and only needing servicing.

Has anyone got/used the new shape peugeot boxer or the fiat/citroen versions of the same van?

Ive got the expert swb version best van ive had to date great drive and comfort with a decent amount of storage also pretty good payload, no probs so far,

Jesus, it looks like a transam cmpared to my £800 Nissan Vanette E. Which will hopefully last me the year.

I wouldnt go for a Merc. HEard and experienced too many bad things. bt probably true of any and all vans.

I am new to the trade, got myself a ex BG Kangoo on 56 plate. Bit small but has all the mod AC reverse sensors ele windows. Had it 3 months quite happy so far. Easy parking too.
