Hello All
This might be a bone question but can I fit a new boiler & keep the gravity hot water system ? I'm sure I can't due to the regs & condensing oil boilers mostly have two outlets ( apart from the very high quality WB range, NOT! )but other plumbers have told my customer that it's ok. Am I wrong ?
Cheers Mick

No you cannot ! and really whats the point ? - old convection/gravity systems would work without electricity but modern boilers wont so there is no point. By the way all questions on here are welcome thats the point of the forum as I see it..........centralheatking

fit a raburn vapour burner range with boiler if you have to, no elec needed for that which is why they are all over exmoor. If you put a pump on the primaries, the farmer would only take it off, as it would cost money to run it🙂

Speak to Russell on here he did one last week

Regs have required fully pumped for a while, the only boiler I am aware of that can even be connected this way (and work!) is the firebird, still has 4 x bsp tappings on the hex.
