hello and i have a problem!!

hi names ,shaun,have a problem anyone can shed some light on,

Ihad installed a year ago 30 cdi condenser boiler(worcester bosch),everything ran fine till this morning,ive lost hot water,checked pressure on gauge 1.5 bar,no fault light on,war working fine yesterday,been through handbook,fault finding page ni cidea,system was flushed before being fitted,cant get hold of builder who fitted it.

any pointers ?

Call another local gas fitter.

Warranty call from worcester ! Ring them Monday ,number will be with your paperwork,

Make sure you have plenty gas and it's turned on, make sure the electric to the boiler is turned on and/or the breaker hasn't tripped, and try all your hot taps to make sure it's not just the one. If you know you have gas and electric to the boiler the heating is working fine but the hot water is not then you'll need someone to take a look 🙂

Hope your Builber was gas safe ! and fill'd in the bench-mark information, has it been registerd with Woscester Boilers & Gas safe?? If not your warranty will be void .

Must admit alarm bells are ringing when you said you can't get hold of the 'builder' that fitted it. Doesn't bode well for a warranty visit, but then I could just be having a glass half empty moment. Best bet is a recommendation from friends, relatives or neighbours for a good gsr engineer.

Thats exactly what came to mind when I read this and saw the word "builder" which always sets alarm bells ringing !!

Think you may have another problem in that I'm sure the boiler needs to be serviced annually to keep it in warranty. Have you had a certificate through from gas safe? That will tell you who fitted it.

Had one of these a couple of week ago, Ferroli with 5 year warranty ! went out for leak on boiler, told customer it was a warranty call, find out boiler not registerd with them or GS, bench mark not fill'd in, Ferroli cancelled rest of warranty, customer paid cash , can-not get hold of installer, job looks like a 5 year old had done it, wish i had took some photo's.
