Right, before I'm subjected to the usual abuse , I'll apologise for the nature of this post but .........
I need to ask for a favour from one of you guys, or maybe more if needs be.
The thing is that I've already done my portfolio, and submitted it while I was doing my 'training' with OLCI but the company went under and now I've got to go through stuff again with ERR in order to get my ACS. I've already had to do a 10 day workshop again as OLCI didn't pass the paperwork onto ERR and I've now found out that I also have to complete 3 installations before I can finally submit my portfolio to BPEC and then possibly take my ACS.
previously I was told that I didn't require these installations, and it even stated 0 on the paperwork accompanying the portfolio instruction but they've changed the rules in the interim apparently and now I need to document 3 installations but I can't find anyone in my area (for obvious reasons) that can assist me.
I've spoken to various companies, and even the people that helped me compile the portfolio in the first instance (they don't do installs as they are a housing trust) but to know avail so I was wondering if Any of you guys out there who might need a hand with an installation or three? I don't mind travelling (up to 70 mile radius of Stratford Upon Avon) and all for free. It can be 3 boilers, cookers, or fires, even a combination of the three.
its infuriating for me because I had done at least 4 installs and didn't document them as I thought that I didn't need them initially.
BTW - the installs were local jobs that I was asked to do, and I got an acquaintance from my portfolio days to supervise me on his days off but his workload (and distance from my work area) preclude any help in that direction at the moment and I need to get this done before the end of February or I have to go through the long winded extension submissions process.
As always, any constructive help is appreciated.
