Hi All... I have aHeatline Vizo 24 Hot Water Problem

Hi all..

I was called to repair a Heatline Vizo 24 today which I don't normally work on and the following occurred... The boiler is supplying hot water but only when the central heating is on. The water fluctuates between hot to warm water. Having inspected the diverter valve, I found that power is getting to the motor when CH is called for but not for the DHW. I then removed the diverter motor and pushed the pin in and the hot water worked fine. Normally I would try changing the diverter but apparently the diverter motor was changed about 2 months ago? Any ideas would be appreciated

This is a fault that happens on lots of boilers.
This forum is strict on giving non gas safe registered engineers advice ( for good reasons) if you are gas safe registered, get your post count up to 10 posts. Then pm one of the moderators your gas safe details, then your in. It's an invaluable place, where you will get lots of other tips and help.
