Hello all fellow plumbers,

Just stumbled upon this forum and thought I'm a plumber, this could be a cunning idea to join and help others and maybe get some help myself.

bit about me:

I used to manage a plumbing merchant (independant) in wiltshire then moved to West Midlands and became qualified as a domestic plumber, and then eased myself into the front line on the tools. I specialise in bathroom installs. I have great feedback from customers and no longer need to advertise, as all my work is W-O-M and its nice to know I am making a difference. I will go for corgi in the next few years and then enjoy the easy life servicing boilers (joke)

Sounds good, how long roughly would you say it took you to get all your work from word of mouth recommendations?, I too am getting fantastic feedback from all my customers. I'm a fairly new plumber.
How did you used to advertise?

Hi phil, I have been on the tools for less than 2 years and have not advertised for 6 months. I used to advertise in the local free paper for about 25 quid a week colour advert too. I also have free line in yellow pages. I think most my work w.o.m. now as I turn up when I say I will. I also treat all my jobs like its my own house. And as we all know older ladies love a damn handsome witty cheeky chap like myself. LOL. And yes I have 2 stories I could share but won't. Haha.😉
