Hi, I'm not sure if this is something you can help me with but I'm hoping you can.
Im 24 and have lived in England all my life, since I was 18 I've been a chef. I want to move over to either plumbing or electric and I've been in contact with a company called ERR Ltd. it's basically a company which say if you work with them for two years and do a course (cost of 7k) you leave after two years as a fully qualified tradesman with site hours to get a job. Whilst learning they give you sites to work on, as an "electricians mate" on 10ph.

Im wondering if this is a scam or not and hopefully you can give me some advice?
If this is a bad idea, can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks, Tom

Tom,

As I said when you pm'd me, use the forum search function. These training bodies have very good salesmen. Go to your local college and talk to them.

I'm not saying that these training centers are completely rubbish, they have and do churn out some good guys, we've a few on here.

But for every one that makes it, there's a couple of dozen that don't.

Good luck!
