Hi all. I'm one of the other mob (electrician) and I could really do with some advice please.
I bought a self install Hive smart thermostat and thought I'd fit myself as a plumber friend of mine told me it should be fairly straightforward. He's now :50: off on holiday and it's not straight forward.
The issue I have is with the wiring at the programmer. The Hive wiring diagram has 6 terminations to be wired to, Live,Neutral,1-hw off,2-ch off,3-hw on,4-ch on.

The existing programmer has the same terminations but there is no cable in the 2 termination. I wired it as the existing but the heating won't come on without the hot water and I have to move the lever on the 3 port valve to the right and hook it up to stay. Then I can get heating. I also disconnected the old thermostat and made safe in blocks. all the Hive stuff is up and running, so I know its an issue on the wiring that I need to correct. I hope!!
The boiler is an Ideal Logic Heat 15. Not a combi system. I believe its a regular system. I have an immersion as well. The old programmer is a Honeywell ST9400S1001 that had an old Honeywell thermostat connected to it with 3 wires. I have attached some pictures if it helps.
I would be grateful for any support. Thanks in advance.
