Hi guys and any ladies on here

Just thought i'd introduce myself.
As far as plumbing is concerned then i'm definately a novice.

I came across your site yesterday as was desperate to fix the slow running hot water tap as eon wouldnt fix it under the service contract saying it was probably the washer.

Anyway after finding out how to remove the dome cover which was luckily only partly seized i managed to take the tap apart.

Looks like the problem was the valve seized up so after a quick clean up with wire wool its now all working perfectly and now no more wife giving me earache! Well maybe just for the moment.

Anyway looking forward to using the forum as i have other questions to ask on getting new boiler etc.
