looking to install a high flow combi for a customer, would like around 20lpmin. Only ones i have seen are the WB 440 & 550 CDi's, can anyone ecommend any others?

Cheers all

Viessmann 222f, its as big as a fridge though, it comes in 3 flavours 19, 26, and 35 kw (the 26kw gives 30kw to hot water though) there is a small cylinder built into it, it will give you 20 litres a minute, while its giving you 20 litres, the combi is replacing the hot water to the cylinder at 14 lites per min, this gives the 100litre cylinder the hot water capacity of a 250litre cylinder, when this runs out the boiler reverts back to being a normal combi giving 14+ litres per minute indefinately (depending on size of combi), then when you turn off the tap the cylinder is replenished back ready to start again in under 20 mins. Not cheap though, but neither is a 550. I think Alpha do a similiar system CD50? Vaillant 937, not quite the same capacity as the Viessmann though but a bit cheaper I think.

The 222f also uses the 200 series Viessman combi boiler as its basis, which is a serious piece of kit.

did installed 440 CDI this summer , customer well happy of what this can do !

did up grate the mains to 25 mdpe .

happy showers it two bathrooms one on 1st floor and one 2 floor !

only negative thing with it

if i am not wrong the weight is 80 kg !

The worcesters are fine. Basically a CDi that sits on the floor. Look good enough, easy enough to fit, flue can be a bit tricky (but i have big hands) and comes with a condensate pump built in.

For wall mounted, Alpha do one (CD50) with a flow rate of around 18l min and there is the Vailant 937.

I know it is not always possible or desirable, but fitting in a system boiler and an unvented would give better flow rates.
