Hot water very slow new mains pipe fitted

Hi all

Just had a new mains water pipe fitted and the hot water is very slow almost a trickle. We have a combi vaillant ecotec pro 824 and it seems to come out fast to begin with then slows down considerably. It seems the boiler is struggling to provide hot water at the adequate rate that it did before. We have checked the pressure into the boiler and it’s fine, plenty of flow and pressure.

Any advice would be helpful

Is this every hot tap affected? I take it the cold is fine? It could be that debris has entered the pipe and got stuck, possibly at the aquasensor.

Yes it’s every tap and we did think it was probably debris in the new pipe, we noticed in the manual the boiler has a cold inlet filter and assume it’s either that or as you say it’s gotten into the sensor.

Yeah fully open….it seems to be the boiler struggling to feed the hot water. Must be a restriction I’m betting debris somewhere.
