Installed a new gas hob at a friends yesterday. Unfortunately non of the burners will stay alight? Is the anything I am missing? nothing obvious appears to be damaged, no blockages, correct gas pressure. Never had to start taking a new appliance apart. Do you think they should contact the service department? Thanks

This might sound stupid but you did hold the button down for 10seconds for the fsd to kick in?

Is it undergassed ? Some gas paste or debris partially blocking the supply maybe. Try getting your mate to hold down three burners for 2mins while you gas rate it.

Are the burners playing on the thermocouples correctly.
I can't see all four or five? new thermocouples being faulty. I can't see all the electromagnets being faulty either.

They can only sit in one position. Even took the injectors out to see if any type of blockages. Non. Double checked installation instructions incase they was something different with this model. No different than any other hob, I have fitted ???

Is the minimum adjustment so far out its not heating the thermocouple correctly perhaps? its unlikely but worth a shot for the 30seconds it'd take

I will give that a go tomorrow. Can't believe it would be that far out.
