hi guys its hurdy. sorry iv not been in contact, but as you know,mother is in a bad way,just found out that,the cancer,she has ,is spreading to her other lung and neck,the prognosis is not good.best they say is she will be gone by christmas,this feels a little hard to bare,in my heart of hearts,i always thought and hoped she would pull through,but i must gather my self for the inevatable. at least i can try to spend what remaining time i have with her,i am going to ask the boss if ican transfer to london, to be near her. any way hope you guys are all ok, will talk to you soon

Anyway, sorry about your mum. It's a road we are all going to travel. Just remember, there are loads of parents out there burying their children. So if it turns out that you have to bury your mum, my advice is that you celebrate her life, not moan at her eminent departure. Treasure the good times and give her all your love now. When she moves on, buy us all a drink in the Arms and sing her praises and celebrate her life.
The first toast is on me. I hereby celebrate your mums life.

Sorry to hear your news mate. My dad was given two weeks to live and managed 6 months. By the time it finally came about we had just about got used to the idea . Enjoy the time you have.
