Just to keep you updated guys just had a message from a mate who put this up on social media

Ideal have changed there tune, got to phone someone up tomorrow

But crossing fingers 😀

got a problem with a ideal imax extra been in about 13 months (error 08 air pressure switch not closing/opening)

so well under the 2 year warranty, been commissioned by ideal so thought ok no problem

phone ideal up

get through to tech after about 5 mins on the phone as ideal list the wrong number on the web ,
right to issue you with a service call
I first you need to go to your merchant and raise an order/ an invoice with us for £200 and £50 per hour the engineer is there

wtf i thought

also he said (gets better)

will we be testing air quality and looking at how the system install and if we find anything out of spec / we dont like

your warranty will be void

so i said ok good bye

ideal you can shove your warranty where the sun doesnt shine as i can guarantee it will be void (they would make sure they find something)

so just a heads up dont bother with ideal commercial warranty :banghead:

Phoned Simon up today and he was busy and said he would phone me back still waiting

😀 saga continues

simon phoned me today at about 9am

in short he was passing it along to the customer commercial service manager (top one) and thats all he could do as hes domestic,

fair enough

had a phone call from the com service manger very nice lad named chris

had a nice chat with him, very apologetic,

so he asks where the boiler are located, give him the address

and we cant find the boilers on there system only ones coming up are the domestic ones

so hes phoning me upto tomorrow and were going to get to the bottom of it (hope so) 😀
