Hi All,
I have the ideal esprit2 35, and for a long time now the pressure gauge bounces up and down when the boiler is fired up.... more so when a hot water tap is running, but less violently when it's just heating is running only.
I'm at a loss as how to get rid of this problem. I'll soon be changing all the radiators within my home as the present ones are singles and I suspect have never had any maintenance done on them (ie cleaned). I've flushed the system quite often in the past year, but the problem still exists. I moved into this house about 5yrs ago and changed the boiler 1 & 1/2yrs ago.
Any suggestions to cure the problem would be much appreciated.
The other thing is, whenever the pressure gauge is bouncing, there's a definite sound from the water pump like water swishing around in it..... possibly indicating air within.
Also, on feeling the radiators, the ones upstairs are cold at the bottom, indicating 'sludge'.
