Evening All,

I have an Ideal Icos HE15 with a leak on the flue manifold within the casing. About 10cm down from the top of the casing is a joint in the manifold. It appears to be leaking condensate through the gasket. When I spoke to Ideal they said the manifold is no longer available and the gasket was a liquid seal. My questions are: is it possible to dismantle the manifold to repair the gasket and what kind of silicone should I use?

Many thanks,

Jock

Not trying to preach but the regs are straightforward, ideal have already said the parts not available, its a flue component thats obsolete ,you cant patch it with anything as the manufacturer has said its a liquid seal,ID and in the skip mate
