Whyme

Tuesday got given a main pcb to swap diagnosed by a bloke who was goin on holiday, swapped it throwing up E04 then E0.8 fault. Rang the bloke before he jetted off he said must be display board.??? ok whatever.

Wednesday fit said board still same fault, Rang idea told him new pcb and display board was fitted.chap said it's now air flow fault, has it got an aps (no) check burner heat ex, condense blah blah. got service kit.

Thursday stripped boiler to pieces cleaned till shiny and brand new. E0.8. wtf. rang ideal again went through the whole fit pcb, fit display, cleaned everything.woman says can only be the fan...ordered fan (bearing in mind pcb £300 fan £250 display dont know)..

Friday fit new fan...............................E0.8..Rang ideal again told the chap everything and when i mentioned a woman telling me about the fan he laughed and said the only women are on the domestic tech, Wtf. Turns out in the end they rejigged that boilers fan system massively (no aps, bigger fan)..

can anybody spot the obvious problem if you get it right i'll buy ya one in the arms (ive given you clues, i didn't spot them hence the post)..
