What was the pump like when you took it out, full of anything? hard water area? If you're getting neither hot water or heating and it's cutting out on o/heat then there's no circulation going on even within the boiler! The aav is working correctly yeh? I've had a few isar's lock up constantly because the boiler's full of air and the aav isn't working? Just a thought mate 🙂

just got in from the thing.....i took out the phex, diverter valve, diverter manifold, condense trap cleaned out sump checked resistances of all components.....all fine. put it all back together again and treid it and it struggled again but got some circulation so ive just added some X400 and before i left the rads started to get hot!! so touch wood when i go back tomorrow the x400 will have done the trick.
it must be a blocked heat ex. will report back tomorroe.

Well it seems that the strip down, new pump and x400 did the trick. The whole system is only 5 years old installed by bg.....surely the heat ex shouldn't block up after 5 years!!!......glad to see the back of that one 🙂
