ideal isar pre heat

Hi, i am a gsr service technician i recently but company is starting me on breakdowns now which is a little stressful lol!went to a job to replace the dhw thermistor, aav and diverter was unable to fit diverter cartridge due to being the wrong part (prefix mess up with ideal)

Question is the preheat keeps coming on but there was NO thermistor fault on the boiler believe its 'h3' off the top of my head could this be down to the diverter 'letting by' as upstairs rads are always on. I have checked the outlets for dripping taps and leaks on pipework.

Would rather sort it than have to order a preheat disablement kit due to the cost.
