ideal straight swap for the potterton suprima to run a gledhill Boilermate 2000 ?

I have a potterton suprima 50l running a gledhill Boilermate 2000 job on at the minute.

the potterton failed its CPA test with a ratio of 0.1205 and its kicking out a terrible odour.

the customers opted for a replacement but I'm a lil stumped on ideal straight swaps. ideally I'd of opted for the exact same appliance but the potterton is discontinued now.

can anybody help me out with possible replacements. thanks in advance for any advice.

What’s the problem?
You need something the same size as the Suprima to fit in a cupboard?

Have you checked out/cleaned the potterton suprima, pretty basic setup & boiler.
Sounds like the air inlet seal has perished & allowing ingress of exhaust gases into incoming air.
They are quite old now & the temps around the flue turret is about 200 degree's celsius on average.
To replace would be looking at poss the W.B. which is quite small or check out maybe the Alpha heatonly boiler dimensions,
JHope it helps,
Thanks,
Andy

Baxi 400 is another one you could use can be rear flued, fitted a couple in very tight situations, and they are the smallest and lightest boiler to fit. Kop

the lady doesn't want the expense of a service incase the boilers shot it. the last engineer advised it didn't have long left so she just wants a quote for replacement.

Replacement for a Suprima i'd be looking at a Vaillant EcoFit Pure. Rear flue options too if the Suprima has been used that way.

cheers. I'll check them out.
