indirect cylinder heated by immersion

l.Hi there my Q is,I have this cylinder and was looking at connecting a mixer valve in loft to all the tap out let's Q is can I t-off the vent pipe in the loft to connect to mixer valve or can the vent connection be made lower and then run up into the loft .

No problem teeing off in the loft only potential issue would be drawing in air down the vent. Depends on how good your cold feed suply is to the cylinder.
