Intermittent timeclock

Okay so got a system I've been working on where the timeclock is playing up I think, I can't ever get it to go wrong when I'm there, however when I'm not there Heating doesn't come on it's set to auto and the times are correct the hot water is left on continuous, 2 2 port valves which seem to work fine whenever I'm there no room stat anywhere in house though

Electrician put in a new timeclock 7day 2 channel Honeywell, as the boiler timeclock display was unreadable and possible cause of problem to begin with

Any ideas?

honey well are having some issues apparently.

heating two port isn't sticking is it ?

Common fault with these are the relays not getting a supply when the demand for both water and heating comes on if you switch just hot water or heating it works fine, try to switch both on at the same time only one relay switches (usually hot water) usually a new control under warranty resolves the issue until that one packs up

Both two ports seem to open up fine when I'm there, have tried every combination of settings to try and get it to not work but no luck

I've had both the heating and water running, and both 2 ports have opened up fine and both rads and cylinder get hot

Are you doing manual override or setting the auto function to come on in front of you?

also it there one of them new tangled grundfoss pumps on it? a thread the other day raised issues with them causing similar faults

I've tried both, had all combinations of settings on the timeclock working

Do you mean one that auto sets it's own speed? I'm sure it's not as it's built into boiler, vokera mynute 28

So the last couple of days it's been working fine, got this message this morning

Alex, yesterday everything was OK , today no heating on auto. Switch off hot water than heating, switch on heating auto , the system works. I'm at home tomorrow nearly all day.

So defo something up
