youve got to admire romas ha house and building there own extension spoke great english up to the point when i told them the could be prosecuted
obviously meter capped and labeled both appliances just hope its not me has to reinstate the gas after they are made to take it down
can anyone refresh me on the rules regarding cookers without a window or door to outside as i think they will try only demolishing the part by the flue

Fan must come on with the light and stay on for 15 mins after. Connecting door needs to have a certain sized gap under it depending on the size of the room it connects onto.

Just thought it was ntcs, regarding the cooker, as long as the conservatory/lean-to had a door/window to out side

not if the conservartory it leads to has a door or window big enough and has a door/window leading to the kitchen afaik
nope thats wrong as zeb said a cooker is a flueless appliance ALL flueless appliances must be ventilated direct to outside air not via interconnecting rooms so its AR

yeaa lets agree to disagree on that comment gasman, have a read of the tb, I had to a few weeks back for a cooker in a inner sanctum of a bar, domestic cooker and it required space under door and regular opening of outer door for venting along with an extractor fan/hood. took me an age to feel happy and consulted building control as well, our guy is quite good on gas for some reason. cant remember the tb but its extant still.

whats it got to do with BC? look at the gas regs re ventilation ?

my only comment was to say that bc actually knew about the TB which was a surprise to me and his comments were in line with my thoughts, although the new owner wasnt over happy with cutting off the bottom of his new door 🙂
