no didnt raise a riddor as all work is now done on pda and no option for that i had to get the company to send out another engineer to give me labels and cap its a large company and weve been sent out with next to no van stock 2 pumps bag of washers s and y plan and a few sensors bugger all in the way of fittings, sundries paperwork bit of a joke realy think i will send the manager a message regarding lack of notices

Even if its been rectified, you still have a legal duty to report RIDDOR. You can do it easy on line, by searching HSE RIDDOR F2508G2 form. It is a criminal offence for failing to do so. It could even get the large business in trouble, especially if they have not got the process for dealing with this situation. Your on dodgy ground, as it is also an example in the industry unsafe situations procedure.

yeaa lets agree to disagree on that comment gasman, have a read of the tb, I had to a few weeks back for a cooker in a inner sanctum of a bar, domestic cooker and it required space under door and regular opening of outer door for venting along with an extractor fan/hood. took me an age to feel happy and consulted building control as well, our guy is quite good on gas for some reason. cant remember the tb but its extant still.

yet again unclear gas regs how I read it was gap under door and an extractor fan if possible connected with over run but not necessary - found in corgi book .but what scares me is the extractor fan on cooker hoods normaly have that crap flexi white pipe stuff that tumble dryers have.

can anyone explain the auto or manual operation and the over run facility with regards to a cooker hood does a manual cooker hood ducted to external air cover me or does it have to be wired to the lights with over run ?
