Isolating Valve

View the thread, titled "Isolating Valve" which is posted in UK Plumbers Forums on UK Plumbers Forums.

Have just found this review from the screwfix website....." Have purchased a number of these. Full bore makes a massive difference with the flow of water". I guess that answers my question !!

really doesn't matter much either way but would rank
1.lever valve
2.full bore
3.normal ballofix

Please don't mention any other options, it really doesn't matter.
makes a big difference with low pressure, doubt it will with your shower

The small bore isolating valves will make no difference to flow if on a good mains supply. If they actually did make a difference you would have a hotter shower! That's how most electric showers work - by same heat performance but less flow more heat.
Have you seen the small restrictive works inside them showers?
The only difference is the full flow isolating valves (slotted screw type) seem to be better quality and have ptfe seals on the ball, so hopefully won't leak
