JIB Registration with C and G certificate!

hi. I c and g qualification and am apllying for JIB registration. Thy say they want NVQ's rather then c and G. Has anyone have a JIB card with city and guilds??? i am an experienced plumber just looking for some advice

when i finished my apprentiship i either had to join the union or pay a weeks wages to get a jib card so i told them to stick it as i considerred four years was more than enough no one has ever asked me for it in 40 yearswhen i neede a cscs card who did i have to pay ? yep good old jib

a full C&G in plumbing is a far better qual than NVQ's in my opinion, so im not sure where they are coming from, i actually applied for a CSCS card the other week, passed the exam and now waiting on my card, and my C&G Advanced it is that old it is carved out of slate

Hi guys I had similar but not with JIB but with PGDB in New Zealand.... If you ask c&g nicely they will send you an equivalency statement showing what your c&g is equivalent to in the NVQ world..... Worth a try if nothing else works..
