Mostly Isars on this patch and until recently probably combustion only but now have to remove fan and burner units to inspect electrodes and burners (insulation etc).
Not just boilers but multiple appliances.

So that would be a service then, not a gas safety inspection.

I cannot see how people can do these certs and a so call service for £45 , beyond me

Thanks for all the replies, firstly am shocked anyone can do 15 LLGSC's in a day !! If possible then not worth the paper they're written on IMO.
I was in my daughter's house once when her cert was done and the engineer was in there approx 20 mins, cover off the boiler Manometer on gas valve 20 there so ticked off ok, same on gas fire 20 there so ticked off ok, and 20 on the cooker so thats ok.
Never removed the gas fire to check the flue, did nothing at all only the gas inlet tests, and a tightness test. I agree with puddle that to much is open to interpretation.
