I've been to repair a range cooker for a mate's Mum this week and I thought that I had the problem sorted as the thermostat was burnt out at the end,
I fitted a new one but it still won't work correctly. The low flame will light no problem, all the way across the burner, but it won't get up to a high flame like the other oven does.
All hobs work correctly and the spark igniter is working as well.
Any ideas?
Leisure want nothing to do with it as its obsolete but she wants to keep the cooker if possible as she reckons that at 80 it's not worth buying a new one 🙂

Sounds like the flame sensing device. Normally a phial in the flame that warms up in low flame, then opens gas valve to full flame.
I haven't seem it of course
