Linking 2 unvented cylinders together.

HI, i am looking to install 2 250 ltr cylinders in one dwelling which will be heated by 2 30 kw system boilers.

I was just wondering what is the best way to link the whole lot together?

I have fitted single systems before but any advice would be great thanks.

Are the boilers doing heating also?

Yeah they are ive done the heat calcs with the manufacturers spec i just havent ever done 2 in one household before thanks

You Could have one boiler operating the ch and the other for the hw.

A zone valve on each one , hots connected at the top together , look at mega flow website

I'd personally go for either one larger cylinder (look at ACV smart Line) or more likely a direct fired cylinder (andrews / lochinvar or similar) with separate heating boiler.

Edit to add: A nACV heatmaster might be a one box solution also, does both heating and hot water

Ok i will take a look, i did think that but was reading something about the secondary return going into the feed of the second cylinder to prevent stagnent water

Thanks for that real neat work i must say! did you have a secondary return on that system?

The secondary return should be fitted with a non return valve at the cylinder dude, as for linking the two, the photo I posted earlier clearly shows. It's pretty simple.

Yea the secondary return is the 15mm pipe entering the 1st cylinder on the left,
pill see if I can find a better pic.
