Ok, I need to get something off my chest before I go and repair a toilet and change some taps.
I went to see this comic yesterday and I got a bit uptight about his gig, now I know its only humour and politics but he was quite left wing, actually so far left he began to make the dalai Lama look like a nazi.
Yes, thats a bit unfair, UKIP were given a slating saying they should be hung and they're worthless etc. I was wondering if a comic got up and said the same things about Labour and Conservatives then took on the same political problems with as much gutso from the right political spectrum.....
Would that comedian find himself branded a racist etc?
Don't get me wrong some of what Marcus said I agree with, views on religion for example, people buying the Sun paper was quite amusing but generally I didn't find him funny.
Whilst I don't like his humour I defend his right to free speech but I'd like to see the view from the other side.
Don't get me wrong Frankie Boyle gets close but pushes the limits on a lot of things but I'd like to watch a comic doing political satire from the right side of politics, perhaps someone who makes Gengis Khan look like the dalai Lama!
Feel better now......
Thanks for reading.....
