I have a customer with an existing electric shower ask if they can have a dual head shower with a rainfall head as part of their bathroom upgrade. My initial thoughts were that electric showers aren’t powerful enough and we’d need to investigate what can be done from the gravity fed hot water system. I have now seen that Mira are advertising several versions of dual head electric showers:

Does anyone know if these are any good? I don’t want to recommend something which turns out to be rubbish. Would I be better off fitting a power shower?

If they are looking for good performance, definitely fit a power shower. (Or any valve and a separate pump) .
An electric shower if always going to be the runner up performance wise. ( and I mean three laps behind puffing and wheezing whilst the winner is feet up with a cuppa)
