My best mate is very poorly

My poor old dog, an old black labbie of 14 years just fell over, did it several times, them seemed to recover and scoff all the cats tea. So he is old, decrepid, has foul breath but has been around for ages. It is so horrible to see them getting to the end, I suspect he just had a mini stroke or something similar. Unless it is the new medication for his joints doing it, still no more meds till the vet sees him and he has gone to bed beltching! Seems happy and not in any pain so a trip to those who cost much more than us is on first thing in the morning . I will have a single malt in his honour tonight to cheer us both up

He snaffled the cat's tea, so I'll have a malt, makes us both chirpier, plus I don't notice his odious odours so much 🙂

When it regards an animal , we are in charge but we must always think of the animal first , my missis has had to have 2 horses put to sleep over the last few years , bloody horrible time and I hated them lol , or more to the point what they cost .

be careful with drops, bleedin vet didnt let us know our pugs were steroidal, weakens the skin on the eye and he caught it and the lens burst out, so he became one eyed and then blind through glaucoma poor lad, however he carried on regardless for a few years. If we has used one of those big collars, his eye would have been protected better. Hope your pug is ok, mad breed great characters, but the breed is too far gone now in my mind.

black lad is just getting old she said, they tend to just faint and fall over, may last a few days, but the fact he steals the moggies food is a good sign so heres hoping 🙂 cheers for the comments 🙂

Sorry to hear he's suffering. My muts coming up 11 this year. He's slowing up, losing patients with the kids, getting grumpy. Much like his owner really.
