Went to look at this today, didnt want to take it to bits as I'am sure these are positive pressure flue system, anyway its not firing, its not doing anything really, programmer is okay. We are thinking the ignition board or high limit stat has gone on it. Myson/potterton reckon 95% of parts are unavailable for these.

Also its got a bit of corrosion on the top pictured I marked this down as AR due to the corrosion on the top, its not gone all they way through yet. Any of you guys still work on these? He wants a new boiler anyway but just thought i'd ask.

Have you strength tested the corrosion?

I've never worked on one, but can you not check continuity through the high limit stat, to rule that out as the cause? Are you getting voltage at the boiler to give it a demand? Any fuses on the pcb?
