I am trying to create the above design but am missing 2 different connecting parts. I have managed to obtain everything else as waste expansion connectors (which are easy to connect and disassemble for my purposes) in 40mm diameter.

The first thing I am missing is: Polypipe Solvent Waste Cross Tee 40mm X 92.5 Degrees White, but I want it to also be the waste expansion sort (referred to as cross). Does such a thing exist?

The last thing I am missing is the piece (referred to as corner). This is a piece which connects a vertical pipe to a forward facing pipe, and one which forms an l shape and connects a pipe to the right hand side (and left hand side respectively).

Could someone please tell me what this is called and where I can get hold of three of these?

Thank you kindly in advance.

Thank you for your replies.

If such a piece does not exist, then I may well need to do this. How would I be best to cut it straight and even so that the two sit nicely? And then how would I make them as strong as they were previously? That sorts out the cross pipe connector.

Also, how do I obtain 3 of the 'corner' pieces?

Tees and bends again. And measure twice, cut once.

Trial an error mate 🙂

More specifically I meant what tools should I use and how do I secure the two separate pieces, so that I still end up with something which fits all of the connecting pipes and is secure, whilst still allowing disassembly?

A good sturdy workbench on a stable floor, G-clamps or similar, a hacksaw with a sharp blade. Use a set-square or tri-square to mark up the cuts. You'll need some way of holding the cut pieces steady whilst the glue sets. The last bit will be trickiest. Good luck!

If you're not confident cutting and glueing the fittings you could always use solvent weld fittings and then use demountable straight couplings adjacent to them. Not all of the joints will need to be demountable as some could be left on the ends of straight sections.

I made something similar but used solvent weld fittings and just left some unglued. The fit was tight enough to not fall apart when used for a back drop. I gave up with it in the end though and just got myself a cheap backdrop support system from e-bay.
