Reported problem was explosive ignition and regular 133. Took a spark electrode. Opened up and happy days - the gap was way to big and distorted. Changed the electrode, checked inlet pressure an fired up. The spark lights the gas, but immediately goes out before fully establishing, so maybe can not be called baffling out.
My fluke has stopped working even with new batteries, and my cheapo is on my other van so could not test gas valve, or anything else. So have to go back tomorrow.

Anyone had the same issue, or any pointers?

Does any one know how the problem with the valves on these manifested itself. It has never been serviced an is at least 4 years old.

Cheers.

No one?

Is there any visible way of seeing if the boiler has had the new valve on recall?
