I am having a new gas boiler fitted for central heating only.

The pump needs to be part of and contained within the boiler.

What boiler do I need?
Heat only or Combinaton boiler ..... or?

Cylinder or no cylinder
This is the advice I got yesterday:-

If you want hot water for the central heating system only, you do NOT want a combination boiler. If you require the pump to be inside the boiler casing, you would use a SYSTEM BOILER which would give you a sealed system.

It would be best to get a recommendation from your gas safe engineer.

The flow and return are vented to a tank in the loft.

Does this change the advice?
