just started on new build on saturday and realised that my 14.4 combi can not run as out of 4 battery 2.6 amp only one hold charge 🙁 now thinking of getting a 36v combi drill as i have 3 2.6apm lith battery! is so sad to see that you have to get new drill cos you battery are dead 🙁

any how back to op .....
hilti core is my dream tool (my dad always tells me they are for life ) but they are like £600

benefit -high speed
much much much less vibration
and there core bits last for ever

Get an apprentice an an angle drill, with plastic pipe on the menu you won't even get dirty!!

I've got a Marcrist DDM and set of cores too. It is quite a monster and rips through everything at incredible speed. Highly recommend it. Only dislike is the lack of a variable speed trigger to get it going without turning the plaster and breeze block into fine powder and spreading it around the house....
